Episode 82: Remembering John Hughes

Posted:

What can I add about the passing one of Hollywood's most iconic directors and writers that hasn't been stated more eloquently in days past? But as a wiseacre once said, Life moves pretty fast...so there was no way I was going to miss paying tribute to one of my all time favorite filmmakers.

Join me as I share some of my favorite John Hughes moments, play clips/scenes you might not expect, read wonderful tributes from friends, colleagues and admirers (including Steve Martin, Ally Sheedy, Matthew Broderick, Diablo Cody, Roger Ebert, Richard Roeper, Rolling Stone's Peter Travers and many more) along with a wonderful personal story from a die hard fan who became a pen pal of the director back in his prime (remember letters, stamps and stationary, kids?)...

...and as a special treat, we will also hear from John Hughes himself as he remembers one of the key scenes from arguably his best film,

Ferris Bueller's Day Off...
